Dr. Shukri Nur is an experienced Academic Coach/Advisor at AC&T Educational Consulting Group in Atlanta, Georgia, with a career dedicated to education and Leadership Development Coaching spanning over 13 years. Beginning her journey at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she served as an Academic Adviser, Dr. Nur has contributed significantly to higher education. Her expertise includes teaching courses such as Religious Diversity in the United States and playing a key role in the Leadership Studies Minor Program at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Rooted in a constructivist teaching philosophy, Dr. Nur serves as a facilitator, promoting critical thinking and active learning. Beyond the classroom, she is a prolific researcher focusing on leadership attributes for equitable education, with co-publications in respected journals like the Cultural and Pedagogical Inquiry Journal and the School Business Affairs Journal. Dr. Shukri Nur holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Leadership, a Master of Education in Educational Organization and Leadership, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
